The failure of public health authorities to treat Covid with known safe inexpensive treatments enabled the generation of fear and panic that supported mass vaccination with an untested and unapproved experimental technology. This primarily benefited Big Pharma’s profits and government encroachments on civil liberty and has harmed public trust in government and health authorities.

The vaccine adverse reporting system, which at best captures only 10% of vaccine-induced injuries—shows more death and injuries from the experimental Covid vaccine than from all vaccines combined over the past 30 years. Never before in history has a vaccine with such a high death and injury rate been permitted to be administered.

The facts have been kept from the people. Big Pharma has enough scientists on its payroll and supported by its research grants that their careers force them to serve as advocates for Big Pharma’s agendas. The presstitutes follow the hired scientists, not the independent ones. The American medical profession in general lost its independence because of Obamacare. After Obamacare hospitals bought up independent practices. One consequence has been the reliance of doctors on NIH, CDC, FDA, WHO guidelines—guidelines heavily influenced by Big Pharma’s interests—instead of thinking for themselves about how to treat patients. As so many medical practitioners are employees of large organizations, relying on official guidelines is a form of protection. In other words, Obamacare produced more bureaucratization of medicine.

It is the doctors and scientists who think for themselves who have devised the cures for Covid and who have raised the questions of the vaccine’s safety. As they are individuals and not large official organizations, they are outgunned by the material interests of the organized groups.

In place of debate and examination of the data there is the suppression of the evidence. Doctors and scientists who raise issues are censored and deplatformed. A recent example is the resignation of scientists on the board of the professional journal Vaccines to force retraction of a peer-reviewed article that compared deaths from Covid with deaths from the vaccine. Some who resigned were involved in the development of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine or had research grants from Big Pharma. They claimed the article was faulty because it assumed all deaths following vaccination were caused by the vaccine. Of course, these same scientists did not complain when all deaths from flu, co-morbidites, and all other causes were attributed to Covid in order to create fear in the public that would cause people to line up for the untested experimental vaccine.

In the United States today there is no longer any debate or examination of evidence. In universities, in print and TV media, and among scientists funded by interest groups and government, there is no debate. There is an official narrative and everything else is off-limits.

This is how we got a Covid pandemic, which never existed, and this is how we got half the population injected with an experimental technology about which scientists were mistaken. The spike in the vaccine has not remained at the point of injection but against expectations moves throughout the body, concentrating in the ovaries, causing blood clots, spontaneous abortions, and heart inflammation and death among the young never threatened by Covid.

The virus is mainly dangerous to elderly people with co-morbidities and impaired immune systems. The current push to force vaccination on children and young adults in the face of the massive evidence that the vaccine is more dangerous to them than the virus is nothing short of a conspiracy to murder. Eminent doctor: COVID vaccine is ‘bioterrorism by injection’ and has likely caused at least 50K deaths in the US

In a candid interview with German international trial attorney, Reiner Fuellmich, eminent physician Dr. Peter McCullough reflected upon what he called “propagandized bioterrorism by injection,” expressing concern that the current experimental COVID-19 vaccines may sterilize the young, foster cancer, and could have likely caused 50,000 to (currently) 70,000 deaths already in the United States.

During the explosive June 11 interview, McCullough, an internist and cardiologist, along with being a professor of medicine and editor of two major medical journals, began his comments asserting, “I believe that we’re under the application of a form of bioterrorism that’s worldwide, [and] that appears to have been many years in the planning.”

He believes this bioterrorism has come in two stages, including the “Phase I” which consisted of a “respiratory virus that spread across the world and effected relatively few people, about one percent of many populations, but generated great fear.”

This fear enabled multiple levels of government mitigation policies including shutdowns, mask mandates, and mass testing. “Every single thing that was done in the public health response to the pandemic made it worse,” he said.

In response, McCullough and a group of colleagues began to seek, discover, and publish treatments for the virus in the medical journals he edited, and began to “meet resistance at all levels” though their findings demonstrated “about an 85% reduction in hospitalizations and death.”

Despite his eminent qualifications, YouTube pulled down a presentation he gave on their platform, while other outlets actively suppressed virtually all information regarding the early treatment of patients.

“So, what we had discovered was that the suppression of early treatment was tightly linked to the development of a vaccine,” McCullough explained. “And the entire program [of] bioterrorism Phase I … was really all about keeping the population in fear and in isolation, and preparing them to accept the vaccine which appears to be Phase II of a bioterrorism operation.”

While he emphasizes, “we know this is Phase II of [a] bioterrorism [operation],” though “we don’t know who is behind it,” it is clear that “they want a needle in every arm to inject messenger RNA or adenoviral DNA into every human being.”

In order to combat this agenda, McCullough said, “Our goal is to get a large group [of people] …  that they cannot vaccinate.”  Such groups should include the high percentages of individuals who have already recovered from COVID-19 (at least 80% in Texas for example) and thus enjoy natural immunity, or are merely “suspected COVID-recovered.” Others would include children for whom COVID-19 is an irrelevant risk, though the experimental vaccine remains a significant threat, along with pregnant women, and more.

“We want a big block [of people],” he explained. “If we can break the ‘needle in every arm’ [agenda], then I think [its real purpose] will be exposed.”

With regards to ending experimental COVID-19 vaccination campaigns against children, he explained, “today we have 800 cases of young people developing myocarditis, or inflammation of the heart. And because I’m a cardiologist, I have a clinical authority position here, and I’m going to opine that because there’s no clinical benefit in young people whatsoever, to get the vaccine, that even one case is too many.”

CDC guilty of ‘malfeasance’

And because the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other agencies have not exercised their due diligence to reduce the risks of these injections, McCullough charges them with malfeasance.

“With this program there is no critical event committee, there is no data safety monitoring board, and there is no human ethics committee. Those structures are mandatory for all large clinical investigations,” he said. “And so, the word that’s really used for what is going on is ‘malfeasance;’ that’s wrongdoing by those in a position of authority. And without any safety measures in place, you can see what’s going on.”

This is “the largest application of a biological product with the greatest amount of morbidity and mortality in the history of our country,” he said. And on June 11, the Texas A&M medical professor explained, that the current number of reported deaths in the U.S. was “over 5,000” with “15,000 hospitalizations.”

However, he emphasized that with the help of institutional whistleblowers, and working with data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), they believe the death rate is 10 times higher than standard reports.

Whistleblowers reveal 50K actual deaths, ‘propagandized bioterrorism by injection’

“We have a pretty good lead that the real number is 10 fold [higher],” McCullough said. “We knew from data from Harvard in 2016 that the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) only reports about 10 percent of what’s really going on. So, we had to get another data source. And, we have inside people. We have now a whistleblower inside the CMS, and we have two whistleblowers within the CDC. And those are being developed right now in order to get this out. So, we’re looking at 10x. We think we have 50,000 dead Americans. 50,000. So, we actually have more deaths due to the vaccine per day, than certainly the viral illness, by far. It’s basically, in a sense, it’s propagandized bioterrorism by injection.”

The most recent data from the CDC’s VAERS system released last Friday reveals reports of 411,931 total adverse events in the United States following injections of experimental COVID-19 gene therapy vaccines, including 6,985 deaths and 34,065 serious injuries, between Dec. 14, 2020, and June 25, 2021.

If McCullough is right, and the real number of deaths is 10x higher than the report above, this would mean actual deaths in the U.S. would now be approaching 70,000.

The whole ‘vaccine’ enterprise is ‘contrived,’ may cause cancer, infertility

The Texas physician went on to discuss how data from the Cleveland Clinic along with other studies reveal that thirty to fifty percent “of people who are already immune, naturally immune,” are still getting the vaccine. Since there is no medical, clinical or safety reason for such people to be injected with these biological agents, it reveals that “the vaccine is contrived. This whole thing is contrived. It should be very obvious. Now the CDC has changed the cycle threshold down to lower, so they’re going to make fewer cases, so it’s going to look [as if the vaccine reduced cases and deaths].”

In observing other data, McCullough also fears the possibility that these novel experimental gene-therapy injections could foster cancer and lead to infertility in the young. “I am very afraid based on what we have learned, just by the first injections, that they interact with p53 and BRCA [Breast Cancer gene], that they could ultimately lead to cancers. They could lead to cancers. “

In addition, he explained, “the Japanese have already shown us that lipid particles concentrate in the ovaries. Could they be sterilizing? If you said this is all a Gates Foundation program to reduce the population, it’s fitting pretty well with that hypothesis,” he said.

“The first wave was to kill the old people by the respiratory infection. The second wave is to take the survivors and target the young people and sterilize them. If you notice, the messaging in the country, in the United States, is, they’re not even interested in the old people now. They want the kids…. Such a focus on the kids,” McCullough emphasized.

Universities guilty of harassment or intimidation

He also explains why only early treatments can reduce hospitalizations and deaths, while it remains “mathematically impossible” for vaccination campaigns to do the same.

Further, the many universities who are mandating experimental COVID-19 vaccination for their students are attempting to do so apart from a written policy, which is needed for accreditation agencies. “There have been no signed policies because they know they can’t write a policy mandating an investigational vaccine. You can’t have a policy forcing people into research,” McCullough explained. “So, if an institution, a hospital or university demands the vaccine without a policy, by definition, that’s harassment, or intimidation.”

The medical professor is the lead expert in a bellwether case being litigated against Houston Methodist Hospital due to their seeking to mandate the reception of experimental COVID-19 vaccines by all existing employees and new hires, as a condition of employment.

Many victories of his team’s efforts

Throughout the interview, the cardiologist also highlighted many victories won by himself and his colleagues, including their working with the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, in creating a home patient guide and in organizing the U.S. into four different telemedical services.

“So, without the government really understanding what was going on, we crushed the epidemic curve in the United States towards the end of December and January. We basically took care of the pandemic with about 50 doctors and telemedicine services,” he explained. “And, to this day, we treat about 25% of the U.S. COVID-19 population that actually are at high risk, over age 50 with medical problems or present with severe symptoms.”

Their experimental COVID-19 vaccine awareness campaigns helped bring about the continual drop of vaccination rates since April 8, with the government promoters “becoming desperate to try and convince individuals to get a vaccine.”

“I’m in Texas where we never underwent lockdown. I was a strong proponent of us staying open. We had 35 treating doctors who were willing to go against their medical centers and treat patients. We were able to convince our governor to [issue] an executive order recognizing natural immunity, banning any mandatory vaccines by public agencies, banning vaccine passports, [and] banning any discrimination on passports,” he explained.

And with Sens. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Rand Paul (R-KY) as allies in Washington, along with media outlets Fox News, Real News and OAN, their loosely formed C-19 group “are now on national TV almost every night in the United States to provide a counter-viewpoint to Anthony Fauci and (Rochelle) Walensky at the CDC and NIH.” (in LifeSiteNews)

When it comes to their own personal health, most doctors are saying no to experimental covid vaccines

An internet survey conducted by the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) has found that upwards of 60 percent of all doctors are choosing not to get “vaccinated” for the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19).

More than 700 physicians responded to the survey, indicating that they are taking Nancy Reagan’s advice by just saying no to dangerous experimental drugs.

Just because the drug pushers of today wear suits and appear on television does not mean that their offerings are any safer than some random figure peddling crack or heroin in a back alley – and the medical industry appears to be fully aware of this.

The findings directly contradict a recent claim made by the American Medical Association (AMA) that around 96 percent of all practicing physicians are now fully injected in accordance with government guidelines.

“It is wrong to call a person who declines a shot an ‘anti-vaxxer,'” said AAPS executive director Dr. Jane Orient, M.D.

“Virtually no physicians are ‘anti-antibiotics’ or ‘anti-surgery,’ whereas all are opposed to treatments that they think are unnecessary, more likely to harm than to benefit an individual patient, or inadequately tested.”

Most doctors agree: Chinese Virus injections are completely unnecessary

Among those polled in the AAPS survey, a whopping 54 percent indicated that they are fully aware of the fact that many people are suffering “significant adverse reactions” to Chinese Virus injections.

Eighty percent of the responding physicians who say they are unvaccinated also acknowledged a statement that reads: “I believe risk of shots exceeds risk of disease,” while 30 percent said yes to: “I already had COVID.”

Among the other reasons presented for declining the shot were concerns about long-term side effects, which are completely unknown, as well as the use of aborted human fetal tissue in some of the vials. 

The “experimental” nature of the jabs was also presented as a reason for rejection, along with there being other effective early treatment options available including hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and ivermectin.

Concerns about blood clots, cardiovascular disease and early death were also given as reasons why doctors are just saying no to Chinese Virus needles, no matter how aggressively the government and media push them.

Most physicians say they offer early treatment for covid that avoids the need for injections

Interestingly, most of the practicing physicians who responded to the AAPS survey also indicated that they personally offer early treatment regimens for the Fauci Flu that avoid the need for injections.

Rather than permanently alter their patients’ DNA with a Fauci Ouchie shot, these doctors are using other tried-and-true remedies that help to minimize the risk of serious infection with minimal side effects.

The doctors also largely recognized that getting injected for the Chinese Virus increases the risk of “catching” a variant, making the shots both useless and dangerous.

Among the serious side effects acknowledged by the doctors as a risk factor associated with injection are amputation, paralysis, stillbirth, menstrual irregularities, blindness, seizures and heart problems, as well as death.

Dr. Orient says that many of these episodes already reported in conjunction with the jabs could have resulted in major product liability or malpractice awards, had they occurred after a normal new drug approval process. Since they were rushed into production and use at “warp speed,” however, vaccine manufacturers hold no liability in the event of injury or death.

“Purveyors of these covid products are protected against lawsuits,” Dr. Orient warns.

The AAPS has been representing physicians in all specialties since 1943. It’s motto, omnia pro aegroto, means “everything for the patient.”

Cancer “hijacks” your cells and turns your body against itself, just like mRNA Covid-19 vaccines

In a factory that produces products, there are mechanisms and machines that churn out those products, and their functioning mechanisms can be controlled, of course, as to how many are produced, how quickly, and when that production line needs to be shut off or shut down.

Sometimes supply exceeds demand, so there’s no more need to create the product (at least temporarily), or sometimes the products are defective, and the machines must be shut down until the problem is resolved. There are “mechanisms” in our human cells that function in a similar way, controlling quality, quantity and frequency of production, until they are broken or hacked by cancer cells or… wait for it… mRNA vaccine technology.

Pfizer and Moderna Covid-19 vaccines hijack your cell’s ribosomes and churn out toxic proteins that attack your body – but for how long? 

Let’s take a look at the uncontrolled cell division in cancer cells that’s strikingly similar to the ongoing vaccine situation where human cells are now instructed by mRNA to keep creating toxins in the human body, without any “controls” or “mechanisms” in place to shut down that production. In other words, mRNA manipulates human cells to create antigens your other cells recognize as viral invaders (pathogens) of the body. People with a weak or “compromised” immune system are easily overwhelmed by this constant and growing invasion created from the “dose” of mRNA, about 100 to 200 micrograms, that produce several billion protein particles.

These protein particles do not replicate like cancer cells, but they are being created uncontrollably by your own cells, so even though they don’t divide, replicate and multiply, they are being produced relentlessly, like a factory, and nobody can seem to answer the question of when they stop producing. Nobody knows how long the mRNA keeps telling your cells to produce more spike protein, and plausibly, it could be many months or even years. Is that enough to kill healthy people too?

Cancer is the by-product of broken DNA replication, and blood clots caused by mRNA vaccines are the by-product of an overload of abnormal protein production

You could say cancer is the end result of unchecked cell division caused by broken mechanisms that regulate cells and their cycles. It all begins with a change in the DNA coding of genes, very similar to the re-programming of cell function/ability by Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines. In both situations, the human cells have lost control of production, and the codes have been rewritten (like a bioweapon) to produce toxins the human body rejects. That’s where the “loss of control” begins, and that’s where cancer begins.

Now you can begin to rationalize the danger of getting injected with mRNA “technology” that becomes your new “factory manager” who has reprogrammed your body to become its own enemy.

Forced DNA/RNA code changes from the mRNA vaccines instruct human cells to create unlimited amounts of proteins and prions. The body is now a big waste dump for pathogenic “proteins” that just keep “showing up.” This is what is leading to all these blood clot cases and inflamed hearts we’re reading and hearing about all around the world, from every nation.

This is why they should NOT have been allowed to skip clinical trials on all these Covid-19 vaccines. This is why they were only granted EMERGENCY approval (EUA) which only makes all this one huge “medical experiment.”

Forced code changes at the DNA/RNA level have no mechanism of control or “shut off” switch

The mRNA vaccines could literally be causing your cells to produce millions, if not billions, of spike mutations per day. These are proteins that mimic coronavirus fragments, so your body reacts by attacking them. This is what creates auto-immune disorder.

Are mRNA-vaccine-induced, mutated and deformed “protein” pathogens to become oncogenes that cause cancer? Will all these mRNA-created virus fragment clones (protein fragments and prions) become cancerous as they rot away in the bodies and blood of the vaccinated? They are recognized like a virus that’s invading the body, the blood, the cleansing organs, the heart and the brain, just like cancer.

«A expressão capitalismo só pode, em rigor, designar a doutrina do capital que é um dos componentes, entre muitos outros e dependente de muitos outros, do todo económico. Mas tornou-se corrente empregá-la como significando o sistema da ciência económica, a qual fica, portanto, caracterizada por um dos seus componentes secundários e reduzida a um sistema entre outros possíveis. Fácil se torna, então, refutá-la.

Outro exemplo é o da falsa sinonímia que se estabeleceu entre as expressões liberdade económica e economia de mercado. O mercado é uma das categorias económicas e, sem as outras, que são a propriedade e o dinheiro, não caracteriza nenhum tipo de economia. A liberdade económica, por sua vez, é o mesmo exercício da ciência económica que, sem essa liberdade, não existe. Estabelecer aquela sinonímia só conduz, portanto, à minoração, senão à deturpação, da ciência.

Ainda hoje não consigo explicar como esta deturpação da linguagem destinada a deturpar os conceitos da teoria, tem passado em silêncio, sem protesto nem correctivo. Mais do que isso: os mesmos teorizadores, cujo pensamento é ferido pela deturpação, lhe dão direito de cidade. Milton Friedman, por exemplo, deu a um livro onde expõe uma súmula das suas concepções, o título de "Capitalismo e Liberdade"!

Empenhei-me em ver bem vistas estas coisas, pelas quais geralmente se passa com uma ligeireza que bem pode chamar-se leviandade. Depois de ter observado que a deturpação se orienta no sentido de reduzir o maior ao menor, o todo a uma das suas partes, reparei que, através da falsa sinonímia (o capitalismo sinónimo de sistema da ciência económica, a economia de mercado sinónimo de liberdade económica), se remete para o todo, que é a ciência da economia, a crítica daquela sua parte. E concluí que este processo só pode resultar desde que se esconda que a cada palavra corresponde um conteúdo próprio, coisa que só é possível fazer quando não esteja estabelecido um rigoroso léxico científico.

Também depois de ter observado este processo, verifiquei que uma segunda deturpação da linguagem, mas esta em sentido contrário, favorece a tarefa dos que procuram minorar e negar a concepção e sistematização da economia como ciência. Enquanto a primeira deturpação se destinava a dar como tendo o mesmo conteúdo, que é a ciência económica, expressões entre si diferentes, esta segunda destina-se a dar como tendo conteúdos diferentes, expressões que, substancialmente, designam o mesmo conteúdo, que é a doutrina do controlo da economia pelo Estado, embora manifestando-se ela em situações históricas diversas ou preconizando-se a sua aplicação em graus mais ou menos acentuados. Assim a encontramos, nos Séculos XVI e XVII, designada por bulionismo, nos Séculos XVII e XVIII, designada em França por mercantilismo e em Inglaterra por proteccionismo, no Século XIX por socialismo e, no século em que vivemos, por keynesianismo. A manifestação mais moderada foi a bulionista, que se limitou a proibir a exportação da moeda ou do ouro nos países ibéricos, a mais extrema foi a socialista, que chegou a preconizar a abolição da propriedade, do mercado e do dinheiro. Ludwig von Mises apercebeu-se claramente de como nesta variedade de designações havia uma mesma e constante doutrina e propôs dar-lhe a designação de intervencionismo, pois ela consiste, essencialmente, em fazer intervir o Estado no livre curso da economia. A designação assim proposta está longe de ter sido adoptada mas foi ela que eu me habituei a utilizar na minha indagação. Habituei-me a pensar sempre que deparava com palavras como socialismo e keynesianismo, em intervencionismo socialista e intervencionismo keynesiano, e a ajuda que com isso obtive para compreender o que procurava compreender foi suficiente para, com toda a honestidade, recomendar aos leitores a utilização do processo. Terá ele ainda a vantagem de lhes comprovar como as palavras não são vãs, possuem um poder bem maior do que aquele que nos ensinam a atribuir-lhes e abrem caminhos à inteligência.

Parecerá talvez que irei extrapolar os limites do nosso assunto, aludindo agora à relação que, a partir da já exemplificada deturpação da linguagem, se estabelece entre a ciência económica e o liberalismo. A formação da ciência económica foi contemporânea da formação do liberalismo e ficou-lhe para sempre associada. Como o liberalismo é a doutrina da liberdade, o seu domínio é muito mais amplo do que o da economia, embora seja pela economia que, na existência social, os homens adquirem as formas mais quotidianas e vividas da liberdade. Há, pois, além de um liberalismo económico, um liberalismo cultural e, até, um liberalismo religioso, mas foi o primeiro que predominou como imagem histórica, associando todo o liberalismo à organização da sociedade baseada na economia livre. Ora quando, como há pouco descrevi, a deturpação da linguagem reduz a economia livre à economia de mercado, o que se pretende atingir não é apenas a ciência da economia mas também o liberalismo em geral. Pretende-se concluir não apenas que o sistema da ciência económica não é mais do que um dos muitos sistemas possíveis da economia mas também que o liberalismo não é mais do que um dos muitos sistemas possíveis do direito, da cultura, da situação social das religiões ou da política, sobretudo da política. Como, entretanto, os sistemas passaram a representar-se nos partidos e, até, a distribuir-se por doutrinas a que se deu o nome de ideologias, concluir-se-ia que o liberalismo não é mais do que um dos inumeráveis partidos ou ideologias possíveis.

Ora a verdade é que nem a ciência económica nem o liberalismo político são um sistema entre outros. Têm ambos uma generalidade que engloba todos os sistemas possíveis. Direi que uma analogia existe entre o que cada um deles é para a economia e para política e o que o aristotelismo é para o pensamento quando se diz que é "a filosofia natural do homem": a ciência económica será "a ciência natural da economia" e o liberalismo "a doutrina natural das sociedades humanas". No liberalismo podem caber, portanto, todas as variantes de cada um deles e todas as combinações que entre eles se formem.»

O empolamento do capital e do trabalho

O papel desempenhado pelo capital e pelo trabalho foi de tal modo empolado que muie tos são levados a supor constituírem eles duas categorias e, até, as duas únicas categorias económicas. A partir daí se veio a formar uma imagem em que a economia aparece como um sistema do capital ou um sistema do trabalho, ambos se projectando em dois sistemas políticos opostos: o trabalhismo (designação que, com mais saber linguístico, os ingleses dão ao que, entre outros povos, se difundiu com o nome de «socialismo») e o capitalismo. Certo é, contudo, que nem o capital nem o trabalho constituem categorias económicas.

O capital é uma rubrica contabilística, a que vem à cabeça das contas, e o empolamento que lhe foi dado é mais um sinal do predomínio que a contabilidade adquiriu sobre a economia e, depois sobre a política. O que tal rubrica designa é, nuns casos, a propriedade, noutros o dinheiro, mas ambos, propriedade e dinheiro, destituídos dos seus atributos categoriais, ou seja, diminuídos e minorados.

O empolamento do capital tem origem em Adam Smith. É ele o autor da primeira «teoria do capital» que ficou marcando toda a ciência económica. Distinguiu entre «capital fixo» e «capital circulante», dando do primeiro uma definição que parece convir à propriedade: «é o que dá lucro sem mudar de dono». Ao «capital circulante» é Von Mises quem o define como dinheiro, dizendo: «o capital é o valor em dinheiro daquilo que se emprega, em determinado momento, num determinado negócio».

Fazer, depois, desta rubrica contabilística, o regime das sociedades em que perdura a liberdade económica, a mais vivida de todas as formas da liberdade, é um erro que se tem pago e pode ainda vir a ser fatal.

Razões profundas e remotas tem o empolamento do trabalho.

O trabalho é uma servidão. Libertar-se dele é a finalidade a que todos dedicam os seus esforços ao longo de toda a vida, «é o objectivo supremo – dizia já Cícero – dos homens saudáveis e bons». Servidão quotidiana, depressa se afigura uma condenação a que a natureza sujeita o homem ou, de acordo com a tradição bíblica, uma maldição irremissível. É, sempre, uma das formas do mal no Mundo, e a mais manifesta e geral.

O contrário do trabalho, o ócio, concita naturalmente todos os anseios e louvores e é a mesma imagem da existência civilizada dos homens livres. Nele reside, segundo Sócrates, «o maior dos bens», segundo Aristóteles «a origem da filosofia», segundo Dewey «a finalidade da educação», segundo Schlegel «o único fragmento da nossa semelhança com Deus que nos resta do Paraíso».

Surgindo com o calvinismo, embora já preparado pelos escolásticos e acompanhando a expansão do industrialismo pelo Mundo inteiro, o louvor do trabalho é característico das sociedades contemporâneas. Antes disso, povos inteiros se moveram, se organizaram e mutuamente se guerrearam e destruíram, ao longo de toda a História e à superfície de todo o Globo, para fugirem à servidão do trabalho. Durante milénios, a escravidão de uma parte das populações em benefício do ócio da outra parte, foi o regime brutal e cruel que todos os povos adoptaram. E de como o fizeram «naturalmente» são exemplo mais significativo as cidades gregas onde se formou a civilização e documento menos duvidoso, textos admiráveis e sempre admirados como a «República» de Platão e a «Política» de Aristóteles. Pode afirmar-se que só se começou a admitir a abolição da escravatura quando as técnicas da ciência moderna abriram aos europeus a esperança de vir a substituir-se o trabalho pela máquina. Trata-se porém de uma esperança vã e depressa frustrada, e nos regimes do mais completo trabalhismo, o estatuto do trabalhador é equivalente ao estatuto do escravo grego.

Fazer da economia um sistema do trabalho oposto ao sistema do capital equivale, pois, a fazer da existência dos homens o mal organizado. As razões, justicialistas ou caritativas, que para isso se apresentam, fundam-se todas numa concepção misantrópica da humanidade.
