«(…) Three trains of thought lead from here: conspiracy, good fortune and efficacy.
Conspiracy would suggest that there is a widespread cover up, that people are dying in their homes, untested and untreated, or being given false death records in hospital. It is, however, hard to believe that a nation’s worth of doctors would be, or could be, silent if the number of deaths we are seeing in Italy were occurring here. While an authoritarian government might dream of being able to control its population to that extent, the reality is unattainable; doctors would speak out to prevent deaths — we saw them speaking out in China, we’d see it here.
It is equally hard to get onboard the second train of thought: that Japan is simply fortunate. That the disease here just hasn’t spread in the way it has elsewhere due to a number of pre-existing conditions: relatively less social intimacy (bowing vs. shaking hands), an inclination to wear masks when sick that has existed since long before this coronavirus, already high rates of isolation amongst the elderly, and what little voluntary self-isolation and social distancing there is has meant that Japan is flattening its curve without a truly active attempt to.
Then there is the third option, that Japan’s “just enough” efforts, built upon those pre-existing conditions have simply worked. That targeted testing where needed has contained the disease where it has emerged; that early closure of mass events did do enough to prevent widespread contact of the infected with the healthy; and that decentralized efforts stemming from individuals and corporations (zero contact pizzas, everyone) have halted its spread without heavy-handed government directive. But “just enough” feels like an awfully precarious position to be in and without the coordinated efforts that have forced other populations to limit the spread of the virus, you have to ask: How long will the situation last?
The “critical” two-to-three week containment period proclaimed by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the end of February has now come to an end and some schools are set to reopen. If you head out to places like Tokyo’s Shinjuku Station or Shibuya Crossing, you’ll see them packed.
We’re now enjoying a three-day weekend, and it is the start of hanami (cherry blossoms viewing) season, which is typically marked by large picnics and parties beneath the trees. Already Shinjuku Gyoen, one of the capital’s largest parks, is busy with people taking pictures and swarming close between the nascent blossoms.
While official hanami events have been cancelled, the practice is so ingrained in the culture that it is hard to imagine people showing such restraint as to cancel picnics in their entirety.
If Japan’s not yet seen the worst of the disease, and studies suggest that it is yet to, will this be the catalyst?»

«(…) The madness over the coronavirus is not limited to politicians and the medical community. The head of the neoconservative Atlantic Council wrote an editorial this week urging NATO to pass an Article 5 declaration of war against the COVID-19 virus! Are they going to send in tanks and drones to wipe out these microscopic enemies?
People should ask themselves whether this coronavirus “pandemic” could be a big hoax, with the actual danger of the disease massively exaggerated by those who seek to profit — financially or politically — from the ensuing panic.
That is not to say the disease is harmless. Without question people will die from coronavirus. Those in vulnerable categories should take precautions to limit their risk of exposure. But we have seen this movie before. Government over-hypes a threat as an excuse to grab more of our freedoms. When the “threat” is over, however, they never give us our freedoms back.»

And as you will see below, corporate insiders also sold off billions of dollars worth of shares in their own companies just before the stock market imploded.

But it does seem odd that so many among the corporate elite would be so exceedingly "lucky" all at the same time.»

«(…) In fact, a cashless digital currency system is one of the main hallmarks of the New World Order agenda because such systems would allow governments and banks to closely monitor and track the behavior of citizens.
“Over the course of a decade, the masses have been acclimated to the idea of a digital currency system,” Alt-Market’s Brandon Smith wrote. “They are now being acclimated to the idea that physical currencies should be done away with and replaced with the ‘more efficient’ blockchain tech – Death to the dollar, death to the Fed and death to the globalists say activists as they cheer for the new digital landscape! But this is not what is really happening. The death of the dollar and physical cash is only the primer for a new and even more invasive world order.”
The coronavirus outbreak serves as the perfect pretext to introduce a cashless system.
Government institutions have already been claiming that physical paper money could uncontrollably spread the virus.
“We know that money changes hands frequently and can pick up all sorts of bacteria and viruses and things like that,” a World Health Organization representative said earlier this month. “We would advise people to wash their hands after handling banknotes and avoid touching their face.”»

«President Trump never actually said the Wuhan flu was a “hoax,” and it certainly isn’t in the sense that there is a virus officially known as “SARS-CoV-2” circulating among world populations. Yet a large number of observers believe that an aspect of this situation is in the nature of a hoax; that is, the reaction — or, some would say, overreaction — to it.
The mainstream media are certainly having a field day. Wuhan flu worries certainly attract eyeballs, and people forced to stay home will likely spend much time imbibing news about what’s keeping them home, right? Besides, it’s a great opportunity to push political agendas (such as the notion that Trump called the virus a “hoax”).
(…) This reality has prompted some to suggest that we’re being manipulated. Former congressman Ron Paul, a medical doctor himself, wrote an op-ed entitled “The Coronavirus Hoax”; his assertion is that the current panic is being used by authoritarians to stifle freedom. Then, American Thinker writer Eric Georgatos asks, “If this [overreaction] isn’t a deliberate plot to take down America and every safeguard of American freedom, how would it look different if it were?” Good question.

(…) I’ve recently cited experts — an MIT biological engineer, a leading virologist, and a Stanford epidemiologist — who all warn that a nationwide lockdown is counterproductive. Now the aforementioned Dr. Noel provides his input, writing:
Governments are causing massive harm in the name of saving us from a small threat. They are lying to help their case. We’ve seen that the actual mortality rate from the Wuhan flu is less than 1%. The Spanish flu of 1918 had a mortality of around 2%. Seasonal flu is reported to be about 0.1% fatal, but that’s based on estimates, not data. H1N1 mortality may actually be as high as 4%, and during the swine flu epidemic, the government did nothing. President Obama didn’t even talk about it until a thousand people had died. But since upwards of thirty thousand die every year from influenza, that’s not a big deal.
Our panic is completely misplaced. But just to make the picture more clear, during the MERS epidemic (also a coronavirus), the mortality rate for confirmed cases was up to 40%. SARS (another coronavirus) had mortality rates of 15% overall, with rates increasing in older patients. They were also “pandemics,” a term used to scare the public into submission.
“Pandemic” just means an infection that is occurring simultaneously all over the world. The common cold is just one example. Yes, Wuhan flu is another, but as we’ve seen, it isn’t any worse than a lot of other diseases. It’s no Ebola, where your survival is in question the moment you get it. Rather, as Italy has discovered, older people with multiple medical problems are at highest risk. As of March 18, of the 2,503 deaths, only 12 had no previous health problems. The average fatality had 2.7 comorbid conditions. All younger deaths occurred in patients with serious illnesses such a[s] diabetes or heart disease.»

«(…) The point to emphasize, one that so often seems lost in discussions about COVID-19 and the economy, is that it is not the virus impacting the economy. It’s the government’s handling of the situation — states and localities telling businesses to close their doors — that is causing the problem.
Along with the very real and very devastating effects on the economy are the long-term consequences for our rights and freedoms.
All across America, people are being prohibited from gathering in large groups. Curfews are being enacted. Businesses are being forced to suspend their activities. Alcohol sales are being restricted. Some places are even debating banning the sale of firearms.
Even with these restrictions in place, a panic-stricken public is unsatisfied. Trending social-media hashtags such as #LockdownFlorida, #LockdownTexas and other state-specific variants show that many Americans won’t feel safe until everyone is forced to quarantine under threat of arrest.
Ironically, many of these chants come from the political left, which normally decries fascism but now wants unadulterated fascism for the ostensible aim of “flattening the curve.”
The panic is conducive to another tenant of totalitarianism — censorship. After political strategist Aaron Ginn authored a data-filled article calling for “evidence over hysteria,” a fury of outrage led the article being pulled from its original publisher, Medium (the piece is still viewable on other sites, such as Zero Hedge).
And what will be the end effect of the trillions in debt our country is incurring to address coronavirus? Besides being a huge tax burden left to our children and grandchildren (one far greater than $2 trillion once interest and inflation are taken into account), the panic-spending empowers those who want to control our country. The international banking establishment and foreign powers such as China will run to buy up more American debt.
The Federal Reserve, the central bank unanswerable to American voters, is increasing its control over our economy with the announced purchase of an unlimited amount of Treasury bills and mortgage-backed securities.
All this is the cure — for what?
No one denies that some people are vulnerable to the virus’s effects. But even mainstream news outlets such as the Associates Press find themselves forced to acknowledge the fact that outside of those whose immune systems are compromised, most who manage to catch COVID-19 will either be asymptomatic or merely experience mild symptoms from which they will recover in a matter of days — much as they would with the seasonal flu.
In one article, AP writes of “the spread of the coronavirus, which most people recover from but can cause severe illness in the elderly and those with preexisting medical conditions.”
The same article describes the experience of actor Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, who are isolated in Australia after testing positive for the virus. Hanks, 63, has described his symptoms as “no fever but the blahs.” Wilson was well enough to post videos of herself reading and singing.
Certainly coronavirus is a serious matter. But if we have information telling us that a certain segment of the population — the elderly and immunocompromised — are the ones who are really threatened by COVID-19, the ones on whose behalf the whole country is shutting down, would it not be more logical to have them — and the professionals, family members, and caretakers who come in contact with them — be the ones to self-quarantine, while everyone else keeps the country running?
If a hundred people gather at an event, how does that put an elderly person at risk if none of those hundred come in contact with said elderly person? All that is needed is for the at-risk individual himself — and his family and doctor — to keep away from others.
With a smaller segment of society self-isolating, local and state governments could support affected businesses without the need of trillions from Washington.
Personal responsibility and informed personal decision-making should be overarching principles.
(…) The Centers for Disease Control estimates that just from October 2019 to March 2020, America has had 38,000,000-54,000,000 flu illnesses, 390,000-710,000 flu hospitalizations, and 23,000-59,000 flu deaths. Yet for all that, we don’t require everyone to quarantine over the flu. We leave it to people as individuals and families to decide whether they want to go out and risk getting the flu or lie low until flu season is over.
Will President Trump’s actions reflect this line of thinking when he reassesses the response in a couple weeks? If he does decide to change course, he will have to be willing to confront the powerful media narrative that seeks to shame elected officials into supporting authoritarianism by portraying them as murderers if they do anything less than a lockdown.
The coronavirus outbreak has taught us two things. First, the mainstream media still holds enormous power to influence the masses. Second, many Americans are all too eager to not only hand over their rights, but demand that the government take their rights away, when the first signs of trouble appear.»

«Presidential frontrunner Joe Biden assured the left that Democrats will try to force their Green New Deal plan “in the next round” of coronavirus relief legislation.
During his coronavirus livestream Q&A on Wednesday, Biden admitted that Democrats aren’t finished trying to insert their radical political agenda into coronavirus stimulus.
“We’re gonna have an opportunity, I believe, in the next round here, to use my green economy- my green deal, to be able to generate both economic growth that’s consistent with the kind of infusion of moneys we need into the system to keep it going,” Biden said.
Biden went on to say his proposals will create jobs that provide “45 to 50 dollars an hour plus benefits.”
This comes after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tried to railroad the Senate’s attempt to pass a $1.6 trillion stimulus package to businesses and individuals affected by the coronavirus pandemic, announcing the House Democrats would present their own version of the bill.
The bill, it turns out, was stuffed with radical far-left pork, including tax credits for solar and wind, emissions standards for airlines, diversity quotas for corporate boards, and taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood.
Pelosi ended up caving Tuesday after intense criticism from the left and right.
Rep. Jim Clyburn had echoed Biden’s sentiment over the weekend, saying the massive coronavirus stimulus package was an opportunity for Democrats to force through their agenda.
“You never want a serious crisis to go to waste…This crisis provides the opportunity for us to do things that you could not do before,” Clyburn reportedly told colleagues in a conference call.

«Patients suffering from serious cases of coronavirus are being treated with vitamin C at some New York hospitals, according to the New York Post.
The critical nutrient is being administered in massive doses to severely ill patients, along with a combination of other medicines, including hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, both of which have received increased attention recently.
“Dr. Andrew G. Weber, a pulmonologist and critical-care specialist affiliated with two Northwell Health facilities on Long Island, said his intensive-care patients with the coronavirus immediately receive 1,500 milligrams of intravenous vitamin C,” the Post reports.
The patients receive identical doses three or four more times per day, Dr. Weber explained.
“The patients who received vitamin C did significantly better than those who did not get vitamin C,” Weber said.
“It helps a tremendous amount, but it is not highlighted because it’s not a sexy drug.”
He explained that coronavirus patients experience a significant drop in vitamin C levels if their bodies “overreact to the infection,” triggering a life-threatening condition called sepsis.
“It makes all the sense in the world to try and maintain this level of vitamin C,” Weber said.
Vitamin C is being “widely used” to treat coronavirus patients throughout the Northwell Health system, a spokesman told the Post.

«Former Prime Minister of the UK Gordon Brown has called on world leaders to create “a temporary form of global government” to fight the coronavirus outbreak.
Brown wants international organizations like the WHO and the UN to be given executive powers that would supersede national sovereignty as part of a new system overseen by world leaders and health experts.
“This is not something that can be dealt with in one country,” he said. “There has to be a coordinated global response.”
An international task force would “make sure the efforts of central banks were coordinated,” help find a vaccine and prevent profiteering according to Brown, who wants more money and power given to the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
“We need some sort of working executive,” Brown said. “If I were doing it again, I would make the G20 a broader organisation because in the current circumstances you need to listen to the countries that are most affected, the countries that are making a difference and countries where there is the potential for a massive number of people to be affected – such as those in Africa.”
As we have exhaustively documented, it was globalism that helped spread the pandemic in the first place.
Even as the virus was raging through China, the World Health Organization repeatedly insisted that countries should not impose any border controls.

«Tarrant County, home of Texas’ Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, has issued a highly unconstitutional “stay-at-home” order that suspends private property and allows the county to “commandeer of use any private property.”
(...) The most notable difference between Tarrant County’s order and other cities, counties and states is the elimination of private property.
Judge Whitley’s mandate states, “That the County is authorized to commandeer or use any private property, temporarily acquire, by lease or other means, sites required for temporary housing units or emergency shelters for evacuees, subject to compensation requirements.”
Even Americans with limited knowledge of the Constitution might squirm after reading that sentence.
The Fourth and Fifth Amendments of the U.S. Constitution protect citizens from government confiscation of private property.
The Fourth Amendment reads, “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

«A World Health Organization official says there is no need for Russia to implement a hard quarantine to fight coronavirus after Moscow closed most of its border back in January.
The WHO’s representative in Russia, Melita Vujnovic, said the country was “one step ahead” of other countries in its battle against COVID-19.
“The measures that Russia has been implementing from the very first day when the WHO received a notification from China that there is a new virus, are wonderful, because this is not just one measure, but a whole set of measures, which is being expanded,” Vujnovic said at a press conference.
Russia announced back on January 31st that it was closing most of its 4,200-kilometer border with China and banning Chinese citizens from entering the country.
This occurred during the same time period when western nations and the WHO insisted that they wouldn’t stop the international flow of people despite the threat of a pandemic.
Although Moscow has ordered nightclubs and cinemas to be closed, bars and restaurants remain open and people are allowed to travel freely.
Russia has recorded 840 cases of coronavirus so far with just three deaths. Compare that to Italy, which has suffered over 75,000 cases and more than 7,500 fatalities.
Singapore, which despite its proximity to China has recorded only 2 coronavirus deaths, also closed its border back in January.
Virtually every European country has now imposed some kind of border control, but for many it was too little too late.»

«(...) If we were to remove New York, New Jersey, California, and Washington State from the United States altogether, the US’s death rate from Covid-19 would fall by 40 percent, and total cases would fall by 53 percent.
(…) Why Lock Down the Entire Nation?
This raises the question of whether it makes sense to lock down the entire country when only certain regions of the nation are heavily impacted at this time. This doesn’t mean, of course, that the rest of the nation should abandon precautions. Persons in all states should continue to adopt precautions, to protect the most at-risk populations, to wear masks, to engage in social distancing when possible, and more.
But given the very real costs of a continued economic shutdown in terms of human lives and increased poverty, it only makes sense that most of the nation take steps to closely observe their available medical resources and engage in precautionary behavior while nonetheless allowing workers to work. At the same time, to limit the spread of infection from the “hot spots,” it would be prudent for less affected states to limit in-migration from areas that are more affected. So far, we have only seen this done on only a very limited basis. In Florida, for example, Governor Ron DeSantis has already imposed quarantine restrictions on travelers from New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
(…) Let’s Substitute State Border Control of Nationwide Economic Chaos
I mention all this, of course, not as an ideal policy. Naturally, open borders between states are good for commerce and for freedom in general. The ability to travel freely between political jurisdictions is a basic human right.
But if we are searching the politically palatable changes to the current draconian nationwide government-forced shutdown, substituting state-by-state border control for national impoverishment is a step in the right direction. Moreover this is far more pragmatic. Allowing some areas of the nation to function more freely is important in preserving some level of economic productivity while much of the rest of the nation’s economic capabilities have been destroyed by state action. The supply shock that has resulted from an excessively widespread lockdown would be lessened.
As it is, the fact national politicians view the United States as one single unified political jurisdiction leads to a uniformly damaging policy. It means the entire nation is essentially held hostage by the few regions with a large number of serious COVID-19 cases. At the moment, free movement of persons from state to state — and thus the free spread of the COVID-19 virus — is accepted as a given by policymakers. It is then assumed all states must assume similar policies, and the worst-affected states end up driving policy for everyone else. This reasoning, however, makes far less sense when the most impacted regions can be limited in their access to the rest of the nation.
Note also that it is important these measures be taken only by individual states acting unilaterally. Allowing the central government the prerogative to shut down travel from state to state would be an extremely dangerous move reminiscent of the Lincoln’s wartime measures during the Civil War. Border-control-focused policy is only an improvement if it leads to greater local control and relaxation of current pandemic measures. Any expansion of national prerogatives and national policy ought to be rejected outright.»

«The $2 trillion coronavirus crisis bill that passed the Senate includes a $350 million dollar injection of cash for “Migration and Refugee Assistance,” despite the fact that open borders contributed to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the first place.
According to the bill, the money will be used to “prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus.”
Quite how facilitating further migration, something that worsened the spread of coronavirus, will help “prevent” coronavirus is anyone’s guess.
The original House bill asked for $300 million, but apparently Republicans were happy for another $50 million to be added.
Rep. Matt Gaetz called the measure a “poison pill” that put “America LAST.”
The spending bill also includes numerous other unrelated pork, including $25 million in funding for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

In a letter leaked to magazine Le Canard Enchaine, French Secretary of State to the Ministry of the Interior Laurent Nunez advises, “It is not a priority to enforce closings in certain neighborhoods and to stop gatherings.”
In a separate video conference call, Nunez told other officials that restricting movement and shutting down shops in France’s infamous banlieues risks igniting violent social disorder if enforced too rigorously.

The 2008 Great Recession resulted in more than 10,000 suicides.

«A Rockefeller Foundation report produced 10 years ago imagined a viral pandemic as the perfect catalyst to implement “tighter top-down government control and more authoritarian leadership,” eerily similar to what’s unfolding during the current coronavirus outbreak.
The 2010 report, entitled, “Scenarios for the Future of Technology and International Development,” outlines several possible future global scenarios, including a “Lock Step” vision in which a “new influenza strain… infects nearly 20 percent of the global population… killing 8 million in just seven months…”
“In 2012, the pandemic that the world had been anticipating for years finally hit,” the scenario begins. “Unlike 2009’s H1N1, this new influenza strain—originating from wild geese—was extremely virulent and deadly.”
“The pandemic also had a deadly effect on economies: international mobility of both people and goods screeched to a halt, debilitating industries like tourism and breaking global supply chains,” the scenario continues, describing almost the exact events of 2020 in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak. “Even locally, normally bustling shops and office buildings sat empty for months, devoid of both employees and customers.”
Mandatory quarantines were also a key feature in the fictional scenario dreamt up by the globalist think tank:
The Chinese government’s quick imposition and enforcement of mandatory quarantine for all citizens, as well as its instant and near-hermetic sealing off of all borders, saved millions of lives, stopping the spread of the virus far earlier than in other countries and enabling a swifter postpandemic recovery.
A “day in the life” anecdote, written from the viewpoint of an Indian citizen living in the year 2025, also credits quarantine orders for helping re-educate Hindus on the religious practice of placing the bodies and cremated remains of loved ones in the Ganges river.
Many lives in [Manisha’s] home city of Jaipur had been saved by the government’s quarantines during the pandemic, and that experience, thought Manisha, had given the government the confidence to be so strict about river usage now: how else could they get millions of Indian citizens to completely shift their cultural practices in relationship to a holy site? Discarding ritually burned bodies in the Ganges was now illegal, punishable by years of jail time.
The scenario also predicts future technologies such as MRI scanners which detect abnormal behavior and predict “antisocial intent,” diagnostic screenings for people released from hospitals and prisons, and government clampdowns on the internet “Driven by protectionism and national security concerns.”
“Governments have varying degrees of success in policing internet traffic, but these efforts nevertheless fracture the ‘World Wide’ Web,” the scenario envisions.
The report, produced by the Rockefeller Foundation in collaboration with the Global Business Network, also gives a snapshot of the roles philanthropic organizations would play in each of four potential futures.
“But no matter what world might emerge, there are real choices to be made about what areas and goals to address and how to drive success toward particular objectives,” the report reads.
While the report notes the four “scenarios are not predictions,” parallels with the current coronavirus dystopian nightmare playing out are hard to dismiss.

Cuomo expressed regrets about issuing oppressive quarantine orders for New York businesses and residents during a press conference in Albany, the New York Post reports.
“What we did was, we closed everything down,” Cuomo said. “That was our public health strategy, just close everything – all businesses, all workers, young people, old people… every school, close everything.”
“If you re-thought that, or had time to analyze that public health strategy, I don’t know that you would say, ‘quarantine everyone.’ I don’t even know that was the best public health policy.”
Cuomo also speculated his stay-at-home decree may have effectively poured gasoline on the fire.
“Young people, then quarantined with older people, was probably not the best public health strategy, because the younger people could have been exposing the older people to an infection.”
Cuomo signaled he is considering more targeted quarantine protocols, which could mirror the federal approach being promoted by President Trump.»

How to Fight Coronavirus (Without Causing a Global Depression)
In a letter to President Trump, Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai offers a plan for protecting those vulnerable to COVID-19 while allowing the healthy to return to work. States and cities are shutting down businesses, closing schools, prohibiting crowds, imposing curfews—all to contain the spread of coronavirus.
The draconian measures are a major subversion of Americans’ constitutional liberties, yet proponents of such policies claim they are a necessary evil to prevent this latest pandemic from causing mass fatalities. The disastrous effect on our economy, they say, is to be preferred to the deaths of millions.
But what if we didn’t have to choose one or the other? What if protecting American lives and preserving our freedom and economic stability weren’t mutually exclusive?
Sound too good to be true? Not according to Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai.
In a letter to President Trump, Dr. Ayyadurai, a world-renowned systems scientist and pioneer in the field of systems biology, outlined a solution to the current crisis that he said would restore the immune health of the American people without jeopardizing the nation’s economic health.
Ayyadurai holds four degrees from MIT, to which he returned in 2003 to complete doctoral work within the Department of Biological Engineering—work that led him to develop CytoSolve, a “scalable computational platform for modeling the cell by dynamic integration of molecular pathways models.”
In his letter to the president, Dr. Ayyadurai rejects the response model pushed by Dr. Anthony Fauci, who serves as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and is seen as the guiding force behind the Trump administration’s coronavirus policy.
“The current trajectory of Dr. Fauci’s public ‘health’ policy will result in the short-and long-term destruction of citizens’ immune health as well as our nation’s economic health,” Dr. Ayyadurai asserts. “Dr. Fauci’s policy, at best, is based on a 1950s outdated ‘one-size-fits-all,’ non-personalized approach to medicine and public health; and at worst, is derived from a ‘fake science’ understanding of the immune system … .”
Dr. Ayyadurai argues that “[t]here is no need to shut down our entire country. There is no need to quarantine all of our citizens. The solution herein provides a path to advance the immune health of all our citizens while getting our healthy people back to work — now.”
The MIT-grad lays the foundation for his proposal by explaining that, contrary to the common misconception, it is not the virus — coronavirus or otherwise — that harms individuals, but a person’s own faulty immune system.
The modern science of the immune system informs us that it is the over reaction [sic] of our OWN weakened and dysfunctional immune system attacking tissues and cells of our own body that harms and kills, versus the virus — be it COVID-19 or any other virus.... In healthy individuals, the immune system processes pathogens with a natural immune response that is mild and non-lethal; however, in those who are immune-compromised — elderly and those with pre-existing conditions—their own immune systems may overreact; and in the case of COVID-19, attacking lung epithelial cells and tissues leading to hospitalization and mortality.
It is commonly acknowledged that even though all Americans are being asked to self-quarantine and refrain from their regular business, coronavirus generally provokes serious symptoms in the elderly and those who have weakened immune systems due to conditions like heart disease, diabetes, or obesity.
Healthy adults are usually either asymptomatic or at most experience a brief fever and flu-like symptoms, while cases of affliction in children are rare.
Dr. Ayyadurai holds that because most Americans will not be severely impacted by the virus, it is not necessary to quarantine everyone. And because the risk is the result of a weakened immune system, the key is to strengthen people’s immunity.
He then goes on to outline “the solution that can lead America back to health—immune and economic:”
STEP 1 - Organize our citizens into four (4) groups
Group I - Testing positive for COVID-19
Group II - Hospitalized and in critical condition
Group III - Immuno-compromised & NOT COVID-19 positive
Group IV - Healthy individuals & NOT COVID-19 positive
STEP 2 - Deliver a Personalized Protocol for Each Group
Group I Protocol
• Quarantine until they test negative for COVID-19
• 400,000 IU of Vitamin A Palmitate per day for 2 days
• 50,000 IU of Vitamin D per day for 2 days
Group II Protocol
• 400,000 IU of Vitamin A Palmitate per day for 2 days
• 50,000 IU of Vitamin D per day for 2 days
• Deliver intravenous Vitamin C - 100 mg drip per day until they are back to normal.
Group III Protocol
[Immuno-compromised are those, though not limited to, with: AIDS, CVID, Diabetes (Type I & Type II e.g. high blood sugar), COPD, Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis, autoimmune disorders, and those taking monoclonal antibody drugs]. This protocol will support boosting their internal defense mechanisms.
For Children:
• 400,000 IU of Vitamin A Palmitate per day for 2 days
• 50,000 IU of Vitamin D per day for 2 days
• 500 mg of Vitamin C per day
• Iodine/Iodide - e.g. Brand Lugols - 3 drops per drink, once per day
For Adults:
• 400,000 IU of Vitamin A Palmitate per day for 2 days
• 50,000 IU of Vitamin D per day for 2 days
• 1,000 mg of Vitamin C per day on going
• Iodine/Iodide - e.g. Brand Lugols - 6 drops per drink, once per day
Group IV Protocol
[These are healthy individuals, who do not fall into Group I or Group II]
For Children:
• 1,000 IU Vitamin A Palmitate per day ongoing
• 2,000 IU of Vitamin D per day ongoing
• 250 mg of Vitamin C per day
• Iodine/Iodide - e.g. Brand Lugols - 3 drops per drink, once per day
For Adults:
• 10,000 IU of Vitamin A Palmitate per day
• 5,000 IU of Vitamin D per day
• 1,000 mg of Vitamin C per day
• Iodine/Iodide - e.g. Brand Lugols - 6 drops per drink, once per day
STEP 3 - Back to Work and Maintenance
Healthy individuals based on the above protocol should get back to work immediately and follow their daily program as aforementioned. Individuals in Group I to Group III, until they regain full health, should do the following on a monthly basis:
• 400,000 IU of Vitamin A Palmitate per day for 2 days, 1/month
• 50,000 IU of Vitamin D per day for 2 days, 1/month
• Iodine/Iodide - e.g. Brand Lugols - 3 drops per drink for children; and 6 drops per drink for adults, once per day
• Vitamin C: 250 mg per day for children, 1000 mg per day for adults, once per day.
Such a model, based on complete information, personalized solutions, and individual choice, would be far better than ever-growing government controls we are currently witnessing.
In a video interview on The New American, Dr. Ayyadurai, who is running for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts, explained why having the right vitamin levels is crucial:
What happens when you age? Well, two things happen. Your thyroid actually goes down in function. Why is that of concern? Because when your thyroid goes down in function, your body stops producing enough vitamin A because your thyroid takes carotenoids from fruits and vegetables and it converts into vitamin A.
Why is vitamin A important? Well, vitamin A creates cytokeratins to protect your cells from impingement of other pathogens. So, if you have low vitamin A — by the way, vitamin A’s not a vitamin, it’s a hormone. It modulates all sorts of immune functions.
In a statement to TNA, physician Stephen Grable MD, also highlighted the key roles these vitamins play in immune health:
Vitamin D3 regulates the immune system, reduces cytokine storm and even calms genetic defects in young people which can predispose them to excessive inflammation.
Vitamin A is crucial in the formation and stability of epithelial cells. Vitamin A has impacts on macrophages, T cells and antibody dependent immune responses. It has been shown to lower morbidity and mortality in measles, acute pneumonia, infectious diarrhea, malaria, hand/foot/mouth disease among others.
If it all sounds too simple, remember that those who seek to impose authoritarianism detest simple solutions. Why? Simple solutions don’t provide very good cover for expanding state power. (in The New American, 24 March 2020).
